Over 200 Thanksgiving Dinners provided to the north Clinton Community

Greatness in God’s kingdom is about serving and using the abilities and resources we have to be a blessing to others.
Every year, at Heart & Soul we have the incredible opportunity to serve the families in our neighborhood with a Thanksgiving meal. Our Thanksgiving Sunday — which happens the Sunday before the holiday — is our biggest day of the year and this year was no different.
This event is only possible through our partnership with Pearce Church. The team at Peace donates all of the turkeys, a box of canned goods, and fresh produce — a complete meal for a family. We were able to give away over 250 meals to the families in our community!
We believe that Jesus provides. When you read the gospels, it’s clear that Jesus cares about people’s spiritual health and physical health. There are two miracles showing Jesus feeding thousands of people in the Bible. Both times they were spiritually hungry for Jesus’ teachings and physically hungry and Jesus answered both of those needs!
And we believe as a church we want to model what Jesus did. We are so grateful for our friends at Pearce Church and other organizations that help us in our mission.
